Fashion photographer Aidyn Ahmet lives and works in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as well as around the world. Born in Almaty, in 1988, he began taking photos at the age of 12, capturing images of his family, friends, and loved ones. His path into the fashion and style industry started during his studies at a modeling school, where he learned runway walking, photo posing, and acting.

In 2014, his first works as a fashion blogger began to appear. Aidyn shoots street style during Fashion Weeks such as Milan Fashion Week and Visa Fashion Week Almaty. His lens has captured world-renowned fashion and style icons like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Gigi Hadid.

His work has been published in Vogue Italy, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, BOF Magazine, Forbes, L’Officiel, and other major glossy publications. He was also honored with the title Fashion Photographer of the Year by MAG Fashion Austria in 2019.

Aidyn was the first photographer to trail Kazakhstani celebrities, shooting them in a paparazzi style. Today, he works with popular models, takes part in global Fashion Weeks, runs his personal blog, and collaborates with many major brands.

In addition to fashion photography, Aidyn has recently started exploring painting. He plans to hold a solo exhibition of his paintings and photo works in the near future.
